Just over a month ago, I was contacted by an old colleague who now works for local Nottingham charity, Forever Stars. As we all know, charity fundraising has struggled over lockdown and Jo came to me with a big idea for an exciting project, which would help raise money for a handful of local charities without the need for anyone leaving their homes.
Notts Big Click Fest, starting from 3pm on Saturday 27th June 2020, is a stay-at-home festival featuring musical acts from across the city; some of which is pre-recorded and some of which will be live-streamed.
My role was to collate all the pre-recorded videos from a plethora of acts across the Main Tent and Family Tent, then organise and edit them into sequential parts so people could sit back and enjoy the music. My friend and colleague Troy Browne designed the logo and animated graphics for me to drop onto the video content.
The festival aims to raise money for Forever Stars; Bloomin' Dementia; Footprints CEC; Nottingham MND Association; Torkard Ensemble and the Robin Hood Community Fund.
